Russian painter Nikolai Estis was born in Moscow in 1937 and graduated from the Moscow School of Graphic Arts in 1958. He has been working as a freelance artist since 1960 and regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions as well art fairs. Estis has won numerous awards and accolades. His artworks are represented in world-renowned art collections, like the Tretyakov Gallery, and his name is included in the Allgemeines K\u00fcnstlerlexikon (Artists of the World dictionary) by the De Gruyter-Verlag. He lives and works near Hamburg, Germany, and in Moscow, Russia.<\/p>\n

The artistic work of Nikolai Estis is characterized by an expressive visual study of intellect and spirituality. In an oeuvre marked by seriality, he is constantly searching for means of expression for his individual world of thoughts and ideas.
